Fantasy Fives – Stage 7 *Guest Host*

Another day, another sprint and another new blog for the Fantasy Fives results.

Demare’s absence from the top ten created some movement in the GC but the imperious Panda and the Peddlers (@ironscally) remain comfortably on top with Michael Matthews delivering another good performance to take third.

Marcel Kittel edged out Edvald Boasson Hagen by a matter of millimetres and one Fantasy Fives player landed a massive 1-2…

The stage belonged to Team Lonely At The Top who were the only team to recruit Edvald Boasson Hagen. They now sit tenth overall and remain proud wearers of the KotM jersey. Their D.S seemed pleased…

Rolfdev said “It’s a dream, sleeping in my Polka pyjama already a couple of nights in a row and now finally winning a stage. To good to be true”. He added later “After all the trouble with the TdF organisation about our earlier request to change the teamname, we are very proud to say: It’s Lonely at the Top. Merci”

No Team Leader (a.k.a me) remain third after another solid performance. The guys also took third in the stage classification after Dylan Groenewegen chipped in with some vital points. I can share some inside knowledge that No Team Leader are worried about the next two days in the mountains – they’re desperate to sign a big name climber on Monday…

Partykjeppen’s Pozzovivian Playboys (@Partykjeppen) and The Cycling Delegate (@CyclingDelegate) benefitted from an improved performance from John Degenkolb today and scored less than 10 points.

Things are now level in the stage classification between GC leader Panda and the Peddlers (@ironscally) and the Usual Suspects (@russelljosborne).

Let’s spare a thought for game creator Yellow Peril (@InsidePeloton96) who can only watch in horror as his three-man team plummet towards the bottom of the leaderboard…

Anyway, enough nonsense, here’s my attempt at the leaderboard. Tweet me @justprocycling if you think there are any mistakes and I will fix them (eventually).
